Cauliflower mash

This is a delicious side dish that can take the place of mashed potatoes. Cauliflower has a naturally sweet flavour and you’ll be surprised how creamy it becomes. It is also high in natural compounds that help the liver detoxify. You can add any number of herbs and spices to this recipe, such as tumeric or smoked paprika.


Ingredients

1 whole cauliflower head
2 tbsp coconut oil or grass fed butter
1 tsp Himalayan salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dried rosemary (optional)


Method

Chop cauliflower into chunks and steam the cauliflower until soft.

Place in a food processor with coconut oil, salt, pepper and rosemary.

Blend until smooth and creamy.
