Antioxidant Smoothie Bowl

This recipe is lightening quick to make and full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals. Tasty, nourishing and packed with immune boosting benefits. This smoothie bowl’s ingredients can be swapped in and out with what’s in the cupboard or in season.

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen wild blueberries (or sub frozen blueberries)
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen banana
1 cup spinach
1⁄2 cup plant milk
1 scoop vanilla vegan protein powder (optional)

Toppings:

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs
  • 1 tbsp Brazil nuts, crushed (any nuts can be used)
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds
  • 1⁄2 cup fresh papaya, sliced

Method:

  1. Add blueberries, strawberries, banana, spinach, protein powder and milk to a blender and blend on
    low until fully smooth.
  2. Pour into a serving bowl and add toppings.
  3. Enjoy!
