DNA strands

The roots of Naturopathy are based on a foundation that acknowledges and honors the fact that we are all unique, with our own strengths and vulnerabilities.

We are now able to offer clients a deeper insight into their health and help them make positive dietary and lifestyle choices that can be tailored to their own individual needs. DNA testing is the ultimate in personalized preventative health care.

Did you know that diet and lifestyle factors can influence the way your genes are expressed? Have you ever wondered how some people can manage on less than an optimal diet while others are more sensitive? The answer may be in your genes.

A simple saliva sample is all you need to provide in order to receive your comprehensive Genomic Wellness report. This provides information on genes that may influence biological pathways in the body and how you can make healthy decisions based on your own specific requirements, which can have a beneficial impact over the course of your lifetime.

Information on isolated genes is not predictive of disease, it is the combination of genes, environment, diet and lifestyle that dictates health.

This is why we gather as much information as possible about all the factors that may influence your health in the initial appointment. Time is spent prior to your ‘Report of Findings’ appointment, analysing your genetic results and determining how your current diet and lifestyle may affect your gene expression. You will be provided with practical, easy to understand information on how you can modify your diet and lifestyle according to your individual genetic profile to optimize your health. This one off test provides you with information that you can use throughout your life.

The Genomic Wellness test provides information on genes which influence:
  • Cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • Weight management
  • Inflammation
  • Detoxification pathways
  • Methylation
  • Oestrogen metabolism
  • Blood pressure
  • Sodium sensitivity
  • Stress response

  • Coenzyme Q10
  • Vitamin pathways
